A vast majority of the deals offered are with national credit tenant companies in the Southeast United States and are typically triple net leases designed to provide for passive income. He has developed an accredited investor list that spans over 400 investors, three-quarters of whom have participated in multiple transactions.

Mr. Copeland previously guided SilverRock Wealth Partners in Charlotte as CEO and president, and provided independent wealth advisory services that met clients’ objectives and risk tolerances. Before SilverRock Wealth, Mr. Copeland’s experience extends to nearly a decade spent as senior vice president with Morgan Stanley. Responsible for a $150 million book of wealthy clients, he designed financial plans for both individuals and corporations. He also engaged with attorneys in developing plans that ensured individuals and organizations goals were being met. Derek Copeland’s responsibilities extended to 401(k) administration, and he supported small and mid-size companies in designing retirement plans.

Mr. Copeland is active in the community and serves of the Board of Directors for the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Foundation and the Steve Smith Family Foundation. Derek is an avid golfer, tennis player and enjoys hunting and fishing with his two boys.
